Forwarded to Band of Mercy:

MaxMara

Activists honored the Global Week of Action against MaxMara and Escada on 18 December 2009 in joint effort to force both companies to stop the killing. As holiday shoppers passed by, activists were sure to expose MaxMara for who they really are - murderers. No one entered the store while activists were present, and many were disgusted by the barbarism MaxMara practices in the name of "fashion". Our voices for animals echoed loudly inside the storefront, demanding an end to the torture and slaughter of our sentient friends.

As long as you kill animals for "fashion", MaxMara, we will be here to uncover the bloody truth.

Escada

In honor of the Global Week of Action against MaxMara and Escada (18 December 2009), activists demoed animal abusing Escada, who recently filed bankruptcy after losing 72% of its share value in three days. Since Escada is such a weak and vulnerable target, activists find it extremely important to keep up the pressure in order to shut down the murdering scum. With Escada flaunting a fur hat in their display case, we informed the public how the animals who were slaughtered needlessly to make such a hideous hat. We will maintain the pressure until Escada's "Sale in Progress" sign reads "Closed indefinitely".

Start packing your bags, Escada. This winter season looks like your last.
